and quick. My ideas have all caved. Not only that but the boy “costume” that I paid a gazillion dollars for is no longer the preferred outfit. Ugh, Halloween blues.

Are you handy with a sewing machine *at all*?
I made a Pebbles Flintstone costume in like 5 minutes a few years ago that I’ll likely recycle this year, but as a general rule, something like that is akin to buying 3 yards of fun fur, folding it in half, seaming it up each side and cutting out arm and neck holes, then cutting the hemline in a jagged edge. Funfur, wonderful product that it is, does not require edge finishing/hemming!!!!!
Well….no, but my mom will be in town. I’ll see if she can bring hers up or borrow my sister’s machine. this sounds doable.
I have a fat Elvis costume and accessories if you want to borrow it, I am local. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaxhouse/1795676384/in/set-72157602770663336/
Another easy full covering option is a box of wine, I was one last year, it even poured out wine! http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaxhouse/4044209087/in/set-72157622538341287/
